time to make a leap.

you often hear that the key to success
is by taking one small step at a time.

every now & then you need to take a leap..
a giant, scary, head first leap.

i put in my 4week notice this week.

it was a difficult decision,
i love my job,
spent 7 years studying,
for my career.

i didn't want to let anyone down,
including myself.

i've learned over the past two years,
motherhood is a privilege
& not a right.

it is a life long challenge,
it does not go away.

but it is also the most rewarding thing i've ever done.

& this was just the right decision for now.
i've decided it's not a black / white
stay at home mom / working mom decision.

i'm home.. for now.
that doesn't have to mean always.

this makes me happy,
more importantly it makes my family happy.

because that is the ultimate challenge of motherhood,
the moment you realize..
it's no longer me,
but US.
